Dear friends of the Schnauzer and Pinscher breads

As the newly elected President of the HSPK I would like to inform you of the following:

My name is Pettkó Csaba and I am 54 years old. I have been rearing dogs for more than 30 years. I have kept miniature pinschers and white miniature schnauzers for 15 years now. I have been a judge for nearly 20 years. As a judge I have travelled the world and in Germany I am known and respected as a specialist judge for schnauzers and pinschers.

When I applied for the post of HSPK president it was at the request of many.

Dear club members

For the period ahead of us now I would like to focus on the following:

1. I would like to reinstate some old practices, the monthly club days and would like to safeguard the values of our predecessors and experienced longstanding breeders.

2. As the president of a large club overseeing 11 breeds I regularly invite the members of the judging panel to formulate a common concept where all our breeding goals and problems can be discussed.

3. I would like to start up a professional course so that any club member who wants to further their knowledge will be able to take part successfully in the Hungarian Kennel Club’s course for judges course.

4. I would like to create closer links with the breed-originating German club and the PSK. I propose we invite the German boss of judges, to lectures, forums and discussions. In the future I wish to continue maintaining the excellent connections with the ISPU. Again I envisage organising a successful ISPU exhibition in the upcomming period.

5. Another aim is to further strengthen the good relations established with the schnauzer and pinscher breeding clubs in our neighbouring countries. In terms of breeding these types of dogs I would like to see the HSPK occupy a leading position.

Dear Friends

I would like my presidential term to be regarded as one where we provide a service. Thus I would like to improve the club, making it a more pleasant environment for its members. The club should be a welcoming place where the goal is not to compete with each other but to open up to the outside world. In addition we need to provide dog lovers with information on our breeds so that when it comes to choosing a dog they will consider our dogs .

Thank you for electing me to this post and I ask each and every member to actively take part in the futur life of the club.
